About ModelWool
What this is
ModelWool tracks official news from AI companies. It brings their perks (free credits, top-up discounts, limited-time offers) and model updates (new models, capability upgrades, price cuts, open-source releases) together on one page, with expiry reminders and an optional daily email digest. The goal is to show you at a glance what each company has just announced, without checking every website and changelog yourself.
Where the information comes from
We put official sources first: we prefer information published through each company's own channels (website, official blog, changelog, pricing page and official social accounts). When there is no official page yet, we include reports from reputable media and clearly label them as "third-party reports". Every item links to its source and shows when it was published or confirmed, so you can check the original.
We do not list resold credits, shared accounts, self-published posts or anonymous leaks, and we do not use AI to rewrite the original text.

Credits, prices and offer rules are always as stated on the official website. This site is an index and may be out of date or wrong, so please rely on each item's source link. We are not affiliated with any of the companies listed, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
Updates and emails
We check sources every 30 minutes. Subscribers receive that day's AI Daily by email at 8:30 AM Beijing time (about 10 top stories plus reminders for perks ending soon). Model rankings sync capability scores from Artificial Analysis once a day.
Privacy
Your email address is only used to send what you subscribed to, and you can unsubscribe with one click. To prevent abuse, the feedback form only stores a salted hash of your IP address and does not track individuals. Visitor analytics are anonymous and use no cookies. We never sell or share visitor data.

How we handle feedback
Every suggestion sent through "Send feedback to ModelWool" is read by a person, in the order it was received; there is no voting or ranking by popularity. Suggestions are never shown publicly, and a private status link only shows the content and status of that one suggestion. Whether a suggestion is adopted is decided by the site owner; nothing is implemented automatically.
Privacy policy
- Subscription email: we only collect the email address you submit (and your optional company preferences), and only use it to send the emails you subscribed to.
- Feedback: the suggestion text, optional email and salted IP hash are only used to handle the suggestion and prevent abuse. A feedback email address is only used to notify you about that suggestion, is kept completely separate from the daily digest, and is never added to the subscriber list.
- Subscriptions use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email.
- Every digest email has a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately; feedback notifications have their own unsubscribe links.
- Analytics: we use Umami, an open-source tool hosted on our own server, to count anonymous visits (pages viewed, referring site, device type, approximate region). It uses no cookies, records nothing that identifies you, and does not count visits when your browser sends Do Not Track.
- Language choice: when you switch between Chinese and English, your browser keeps a cookie that only records the chosen language, so the site opens in the same language next time. It contains no personal information.
- Data is stored on our own server in Hong Kong and is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Emails are delivered by Resend (used only for email delivery).

What we don't do
- No text messages: all notifications are sent by email.
- No accounts: subscribing only needs an email address.
- No reselling of credits: we only index information about official offers.
